Dungeons
All across Valentia there are area unexplored, explored, or partially explored that can be considered Dungeons. Be they a particularly deep forest, a murky hidden swamp, an ancient burial site, abandoned shrines, and so forth. Many of them are occupied by either man or Terror alike.
Many of them even have their depths constantly altered by the creeping touch of the Void…
Dungeon Mechanics
Dungeon exploration is handled through encounters with enemies. All dungeons have a base number of enemy encounters required to clear them. The size and intensity of the encounters tend to revolve around the dungeons in question, but the number of encounters goes up by one for every three characters tackling the dungeon together.
Below are a list of how many encounters each class tree can handle within a given dungeon. For example: If a Tier 1 survives two encounters in a dungeon and is not at the end, then their run of the dungeon is forced to end there. As such they cannot earn a reward for clearing, but can still get rewards for their encounters.
-Tier 1s get 2 encounters + final
-Tier 2s get 3 + final
-Tier 3s get 5 + final
-Tier 4 unlimited
