Wicked Harpy
Name: Isabel Shawe
Class: Falcoknight
Age: 28
Area of Birth: Valentia Capital
Appearance:
Personality: First impressions would likely leave one with any belief other than the fact that Isabel was once an esteemed knight, on the rise through the ranks of the Valentian military. Isabel knows how to speak formally, but tends to adjust her speech based on her company. She's armored with a dangerous gleam, but closer to that of a knave than a knight. The woman can outdrink even the hardiest of sailors and, depending on the day, likely out-eat them as well.
Isabel is flirty, though it's usually empty with the ulterior motive of getting attention. She's of a cunning wit and rather savvy, not above unsavory means when it comes to accomplishing a task. Though Isabel's only real skills revolve around combat and survival she's picked up a few tricks here and there, between life on the streets and life in the military. Lockpicking and tracking individuals are most certainly among them. She can pick pockets quite well to boot.
That said, Isabel still holds to some of the codes of honour she held as a knight. Not necessarily blood thirsty, but pretty savage during a fight. She has her vices, namely drink, and tends to get a bit moody when she's been long without. Has a relatively pessimistic view of the world and doesn't exactly have the healthiest self-image, but her perseverance holds up regardless. No matter what she, or others, think of her she cannot shake the drive to survive and do better.
Isabel's relationship with Visenya, her pegasus, is a tight one. When the two are alone Isabel will often speak to Visenya as if she were another human. To Visenya's credit she tends to listen, and has her own methods of guiding Isabel towards a better path. It can be humorous to watch the rider be chided by the mount.
History: Isabel was born in the Valentian Capital, one of the richest cities in the entire continent. However that wealth is not spread equally. The large city has districts that suffer from poverty, and Isabel grew up in the worst of them. She never knew her father and had only her mother to look after her, but it wasn't long before Isabel was the one looking after her mother. She was too sick to work, and didn't have enough coin to pay properly for food and water, let alone the care of a doctor or healer.
With no other family to depend on, and all of her neighbors possessing little more coin than they did, Isabel eventually took matters into her own hand. She, as well as other younger kids from her area, began to thieve and pick-pocket the shops and citizens from the wealthier areas of the city.
