The Void
A realm that exists parallel to the world that humans exist on, yet it seems to be particularly tied to Valentia. Though the Void is thought to have existed since the dawn of time there is little information on it. Very few have ever found a way to enter the Void, and even fewer have ever made a successful trip to the other side and returned alive – or sane enough – to tell the tale.
As such accounts of the true nature of the Void are varied. Some have said it is a realm of purest darkness. Nothing can be seen – not even the maws of the Terrors that lurk within. Some have said it is a perfect reflection of Valentia, but filled to the brim with Terrors – the likes of which have never before been seen and are far more terrifying than those that have infiltrated Valentia.
Some have descriped it as a cyclone of pure magic and a collective will of it's denizens, sweeping your mind and soul away into a maelstrom beyond comprehension.
It is known that the Void is almost entirely composed of magic, but the actual nature of that magic and the various forms it can take within the Void are a variable mystery. As such there is quite a bit left to be discovered, though even the boldest of men and women would hesitate at the thought of investigating the what is essentially the womb of Terror's.
